The Cabinet has renamed NSAP as Pradhan Mantri Samajik Sahayata Yojana and extended it to 2030-31 with a Rs 53,428 crore outlay. The disability pension now pays Rs 375 or Rs 625 a month with a 40% benchmark, while old-age, widow and family benefit schemes continue in their existing form.
